High School All Star Band 2020

Some of us are done with Marching Band, some are not and some don't do marching band! HS Band Directors, I will be opening the nomination form for the All Star Band the day of our meeting January 9th. I have prepared a doc I will get to you that outlines the process. Last year was very successful with the help of all directors sending your very best; it was a great band and a great day! This year, our guest conductor will be Master Sergeant Michael Stanley. Stanley has a doctoral degree in wind band conducting from George Mason University, and currently splits time between Washington, D.C. where he is an administrator of the Marine Music Program, and Okinawa, Japan, where he serves as band master. On a personal note, he was my son's recruiter 10 years ago!
